The Pan and Pot Handle Holder is a kitchen aid that holds a saucepan or pot still on the benchtop so it can be stirred, filled or emptied with one hand. A flat moulded base carries three widely spaced suction cups that grip a smooth benchtop, and a groove across the centre of the base takes the pan handle and stops the pan turning or sliding as it is stirred. The suction cups are set out towards the edges, keeping them clear of heat, so the holder can be used beside a cooktop. It presses into place without tools or fixings and lifts off again for storage. Made from durable plastic and measuring 20.5 cm by 20.5 cm by 16 cm at 190 g, it accepts most standard pots and pans.

Stirring a pan that will not stay put is a two-handed job, and securing the handle turns it into a one-handed one, which matters for anyone cooking after a stroke or with reduced grip.
