Features
The Sock Aid Helper is a freestanding frame that holds a compression stocking open and at an angle so it can be put on from a seated position, without bending down to the foot. The stocking is loaded over the rigid frame, which keeps the opening held wide while the foot is guided in, and built-in handles then give something solid to hold and pull against as the garment is drawn up the leg. Because the frame supports the fabric while it is being stretched, it also reduces the handling that can overstretch or tear a compression garment. It works with knee-high and thigh-high stockings in both open-toe and closed-toe styles. The frame measures 21.5 cm by 18 cm by 36.2 cm and weighs 740 g, so it stands steady on the floor during use.
