The Allegro Alto Lift MkII 200 is a medium sized mobile patient lifting hoist rated to a safe working load of 200 kg, built for institutional care or for a home where a higher capacity lift is needed. The powered mast, which uses LINAK components, moves the yoke from 30 to 192 cm, so the same hoist can recover a patient from the floor and transfer that person between bed, chair and shower trolley. Allegro's SPACE LINK geometry gives the patient more room than the compact chassis suggests and allows rotation through 360 degrees at full lift height. Base width is adjusted electrically from 70 cm closed to 113 cm open, letting a carer open the legs around a chair or bed frame from the handset, and the 13 cm under-bed clearance keeps access to most bed bases.

Higher capacity usually means a bulkier hoist, and this model is the exception worth noting: 200 kg of rated capacity in a chassis 115 cm deep that still passes under most beds. Electric base width adjustment spares the carer bending to a foot pedal with a patient already supported, and the 106 cm reach helps when a bed cannot be moved away from a wall.
