The Bathmaster Deltis is a battery powered bath lift that lowers a seated user into the bath and raises them out again, so bathing does not depend on stepping over the rim or rising from the bath floor. The user sits on the seat at the level of the bath edge, slides across and then operates a waterproof hand controller, which lowers the seat from 46 to 6.5 cm above the bath base and reclines the backrest to a chosen angle between 10 and 40 degrees. The all plastic construction is free from corrosion and wipes clean, and the lift separates into a 6.8 kg seat and a 3.7 kg backrest for carrying and storage. With a compact 53 cm by 22 cm base it fits most domestic baths, and it supports users up to 140 kg.

The value here is being able to keep bathing in the bath rather than changing to a shower, with the reclining backrest allowing a comfortable position in deeper water. Assembly calls for no tools or technical knowledge, and because the heaviest section weighs 6.8 kg the lift can be taken out and stored between uses, or packed to take away from home.
