Features
The Alrick Clamp On Support Rail is a short bed rail that clamps directly onto the metal frame of a bed to provide a firm handhold for getting in and out of bed and for steadying while sitting on the edge. A quick release clamping system fits and removes the rail without tools, so it can be added when a person needs it and moved between beds as circumstances change. The handle sits 40 cm above the bed frame and the rail is around 30 cm wide with about 10 cm between the rungs, and this short open form is intended to reduce the risk of entrapment compared with full length side rails. The frame carries a powdercoated finish and is stocked in Ironstone, the clamp has been independently tested to Australian standards, a safe working load of 150 kg applies, and custom options are available from Alrick.
