The Care Quip Folding Walking Frame is a lightweight aluminium walking frame that provides a stable four point base of support for a person who needs assistance with balance while walking indoors. The user holds the foam covered handles, places the frame ahead and then steps up to it. The frame folds flat, which makes it easier to store beside a chair or bed and to carry in a vehicle. Handle height adjusts from 78.5 to 94 cm on the adult frame so that the grip can be set to suit the user, and a youth size with a lower handle range is also available. The adult frame weighs 2.6 kg, is fitted with 2.8 cm tips and is rated to a maximum user weight of 150 kg. Fixed wheels, swivel wheels and walker skis are available separately.
