This Care Quip padded shower stool with backrest is a compact seat for use inside a shower recess or beside a vanity outside the recess, where floor space is limited. The padded seat and padded backrest make seated showering more comfortable for a person who washes slowly or who needs to rest partway through, and the integrated arms on both sides give a support point when lowering onto the seat and when rising again. Seat height adjusts from 52 to 67 cm so the stool can be set to the user's leg length and the bathroom, and there is 46 cm between the arms. The footprint measures 55 cm wide by 38 cm deep. Non slip rubber tips help the frame hold position on a wet floor, and the powder coated steel frame carries an electrophoretic surface treatment to resist rusting. Maximum user weight is 175 kg.

A backrest and arms turn a basic shower seat into something a person can settle into, which matters when washing takes time or standing tolerance is limited. Height adjustment allows the seat to be matched to the individual, and the small footprint means it still fits a standard domestic recess rather than needing a large bathroom.
