The Care Quip Shower Stool in aluminium is a compact seat for showering in a seated position, sized to fit inside a small shower recess or to stand beside a vanity outside the recess. The seat is a durable moulded plastic that wipes clean, and integrated arms on both sides give the user something to push against when lowering onto the stool and when standing up again. Seat height adjusts from 51 to 66 cm to suit the user and the bathroom, with 46 cm between the arms and a footprint of 55 cm wide by 38 cm deep. Non slip rubber tips help hold the stool in position on a wet floor. The powder coated aluminium frame is lightweight to move and rust proof, the stool is rated to 175 kg, and it is tested to AS/NZS 3973:2009.

The 175 kg rating and the arms on both sides make this a sensible choice where a seated shower has to support a solid push up to standing. Height adjustment lets the seat be matched to the person using it, and the aluminium frame stays light enough for one person to lift the stool in and out of the recess for cleaning.
