The Care Quip Side Fold Walker is a four wheeled seat walker that provides support while walking and a place to sit and rest along the way. The frame uses a side fold concertina mechanism, so the walker collapses sideways into a compact shape and stands upright on its own once folded, which makes it straightforward to lift into a car boot or store beside a doorway. Handle height adjusts between 80 cm and 93 cm to suit the user, and the handbrakes lock to hold the walker still while sitting down or standing up. A vinyl slung seat set at 55 cm, rear tilt pedals, large 20.3 cm (8 inch) castors and a removable zippered vinyl bag complete the specification, finished in a metallic blue powder coat. The walker weighs 7.4 kg and is rated to a maximum user weight of 150 kg.
