The foot board is the upholstered panel fitted at the foot end of a Casero Series bed, and Alpha Lifecare supplies it as part of the complete bed packages it lists with head and foot boards fitted. The Movi Casero bed range brochure sets out three foot board heights: Low at 18 cm, Standard at 35.5 cm and High at 70 cm, so the panel can be chosen to suit how open or enclosed the foot of the bed should look. Upholstery is offered in Oatmeal, Granite and Slate fabric or in Ebony vinyl, the same finishes used across the bed range and on the matching head boards, which means a care bed can be specified to sit comfortably in a domestic bedroom as readily as in a care setting.

Choosing the height and the finish rather than accepting a standard panel lets the bed be matched to the room it will stand in, which makes a difference where the bed is someone's own bedroom furniture. The low panel keeps the foot of the bed visually open, while the high panel gives a more conventional bedroom appearance.
