The Cura1 2702 Three Channel Cordless Falls Monitor is the receiver at the centre of a small cordless falls alert setup, and Cura1 positions it as the more economical alternative to its larger 2700 for home care or for looking after one person. The monitor works with up to three cordless Cura1 devices, such as a bed pad, a chair pad or a floor mat fitted with a 2719 transmitter, and sounds an alarm with amber LED indication when one of them is triggered. It runs on three AA batteries for up to six months, or from the optional 2406 plug pack, and measures 12 x 8.3 x 3.5 cm at 210 g in a flame retardant ABS housing. A volt free relay output allows connection to a facility nurse call system, and the monitor re-arms itself when the person returns to bed.

Three channels cover most situations where one person is being monitored, letting a bed pad, a chair pad and a floor mat report to a single unit. Automatic re-arming saves staff resetting the monitor after every alert, and three volume levels together with fault alerts for a lost device or lost power help keep the system dependable.
