The Cura1 2719 Cordless Pad Transmitter is the component that allows Cura1 cordless pads and mats to work without cabling. The transmitter fits inside the connector on a compatible Cura1 cordless bed pad, chair pad or floor mat and relays the pad status by radio to a Cura1 cordless monitor or pager, so the alert reaches the carer without a lead running from the bed, the chair or the floor back to the monitor. It operates at 433 MHz with a wireless range of 30 m to 50 m depending on the surrounding environment, and a status and in use LED indicator lets a carer confirm at a glance that the unit is working. An on/off switch conserves the battery, which lasts approximately one year. The transmitter carries a 12 month warranty.

One transmitter serves the whole Cura1 cordless pad range, which keeps spares simple for a facility and allows a single unit to be moved between a bed pad, a chair pad and a floor mat as needs change. A battery life of about a year and a visible status light keep day to day upkeep to a minimum.
