The pager receives direct wireless signals from compatible Cura transmitters and monitoring devices, allowing carers to receive alerts wherever they are within range. When paired with the CUR-2719 or CUR-2720 transmitters, the pager can automatically reset once pressure is reapplied to the monitored surface. Its durable ABS housing and easily cleanable buttons make it suitable for hygienic care environments. The pager can also be fitted with an optional soft protective cover (CUR-3506) to protect the device from knocks or accidental drops.

It allows carers to remain mobile while receiving wireless alerts from up to three connected bed, chair, or floor pads. Vibration and tone options support both audible and silent monitoring in home or residential care settings.
