The Cura1 3508 LED Pager is a portable wireless receiver that lets a carer be alerted while away from the room being monitored. It operates on 433.92 MHz and receives signals directly from compatible Cura1 wireless devices, and it can be programmed to monitor up to three of them, so several monitored points can be followed from the one handset. Alerts are given by tone or by vibration, and when the pager is paired with a 2719 or 2720 transmitter it resets automatically rather than needing to be cleared by hand. The housing is ABS plastic with buttons that are straightforward to wipe over, and the unit measures 8.3 x 5.5 x 2.6 cm and weighs 65 g without batteries. Two AA batteries, a 3506 soft protective cover and a Quick Start Guide are supplied.

Carers are able to keep moving about the home while still being notified promptly, which suits arrangements where nobody is stationed beside the bed or chair. The choice between tone and vibration makes the alert workable for a person who is hard of hearing or who would rather not depend on an audible signal, and the pager arrives with batteries and a protective cover already in the box.
