The Cura1 Wireless Door Contact Kit combines the 3503 Wireless Door Contact with the 3508 LED Pager so that a carer is alerted when a door or a window is opened. The contact body measures 7.9 x 2.9 x 1.2 cm and mounts with the supplied double sided tape alongside its 6 x 1.2 x 0.7 cm magnet, and separating the two sends a signal at 433.92 MHz to the pager, typically effective to about 50 m depending on the building. The pager measures 8.3 x 5.5 x 2.6 cm, runs on two AA batteries and can be set to alert by tone or by vibration, which helps where a carer is hard of hearing or where a quiet household should not be disturbed. A call button built into the contact allows it to double as a portable call button.

The kit addresses one specific risk, which is a person leaving a room or a house unnoticed, and it does so without altering the door itself. Choosing between a tone and a vibration alert lets a carer stay informed discreetly, and the call button on the contact adds a second use as a portable call button.
