The Etac Swift is a height-adjustable shower chair that allows a person to sit while showering rather than stand, and in this configuration it is supplied in white with both a back support and arm supports fitted. The telescopic aluminium legs adjust by a click-and-press action to seven seat heights between 42 cm and 57 cm, and setting the front and rear legs differently tilts the seat slightly forward to assist standing. The polypropylene seat has a generous front recess, perforations that drain water quickly, and a textured surface that stays non-slip when wet. Non-slip ferrules adapt to uneven or wet floors and the wide footprint keeps the chair steady. At 4.7 kg it is easy to reposition, and the back and arm supports click off without tools so it can also be used as a shower stool. Maximum user weight is 160 kg.

Sitting to shower removes the need to stand on a wet floor, and the wide range of seat heights means the chair can be set either for an easy transfer from a wheelchair or for comfortable foot contact with the floor. The light frame is simple to move between bathrooms, and taking off the back and arm supports adapts it to a different user.
