The Alaise is an Australian made hybrid pressure care mattress that combines engineered foam with full length static air cells, and it works without a pump, power supply or cables. More than thirteen vertically linked air cells sit beneath a cooling gel memory foam core and an open cell Airoform interface, allowing the surface to immerse the body so that load is spread away from bony prominences. Cells are zoned at the scapular, lumbar and thigh regions, a sacral air reserve limits bottoming out during long periods of sitting up, and a sloped heel section carries dedicated heel cells. A high support foam and cell perimeter steadies the edge for transfers. Maximum user weight is 300 kg in the Single and 350 kg in the King Single. Forte rates it for high to very high pressure injury risk across hospital, aged care, palliative and home settings.

Because the air support is pumpless, this surface delivers static air immersion with no cables to route, no motor noise and no device to service, which makes it as workable in a home as in a facility. The zoned cells and firm perimeter also help with repositioning and sitting on the edge, and the cover is specified separately so it can be replaced on its own as the setting changes.
