This extra wide version of the Homecraft Atlantic Wave Deluxe Shower Commode is an attendant propelled chair for showering and toileting, with a seat 55.8 cm (22 inch) across for users who need more room than the standard model provides. It can be used in a shower cubicle or wet room, as a commode, or positioned over a standard toilet bowl. The silver painted aluminium frame resists rust and keeps the chair strong without being heavy, and the seat height adjusts between 49.5 cm and 57 cm to suit the user and the fixture. Brakes on all four wheels hold the chair during transfers, the armrests flip back to open the side of the chair, and the footrests swing away and detach. A commode pan and seat insert are included and maximum user weight is 200 kg.

The extra seat width is the point of this model, giving a wider user a stable and comfortable place to sit for the whole shower rather than a seat that is only just adequate. Height adjustment lets the chair sit correctly over a toilet bowl, and brakes on all four wheels mean it stays put while someone transfers on or off.
