The Homecraft Atlantic Wave Deluxe Shower Commode in transit form is an attendant-propelled chair on four 13 cm castors, allowing a person to stay seated for showering and toileting and to be moved between the two. The silver-painted aluminium frame keeps the chair to 12.4 kg while remaining rust free, the maximum user weight is 125 kg, and the seat height adjusts between 49.5 cm and 57 cm. The chair can be used in a shower cubicle or wet room, as a commode with the square pan supplied, or positioned over a standard toilet bowl. The front of the seat is cut away to allow access for personal hygiene, with an insert provided for comfort while the user is being transported. Padding on the back and armrests, flip-back armrests, detachable swing-away footrests and a detachable back complete the design, and brakes are fitted to all four wheels.

One chair that covers showering, toileting and the trip between them reduces the number of transfers a person and their carer have to manage. Flip-back armrests and detachable footrests keep side transfers workable, brakes on all four wheels hold the chair steady while a carer works, and the 12.4 kg frame is light enough to reposition in a small bathroom.
