The Homecraft Kings Heavy Handle is a replacement grip for the Homecraft Kings modular cutlery range, intended for people who find ordinary cutlery difficult to hold steadily. It is a cylindrical handle of 11 cm, similar in shape to the standard Kings handle, but with a metal bar set into the core so that it weighs 145 g. The handle slides onto a Kings knife, fork or spoon over the plastic spigot moulded into each utensil, so a single handle can be moved between different pieces as the meal requires. The added weight is offered for people living with hand tremors, while other handles in the range address arthritis and hand pain. Utensil heads are purchased separately. The handle is dishwasher safe, which keeps cleaning simple in both home and residential care settings.

The weighted core gives a utensil more substance in the hand, which can help someone whose hands shake to continue eating without assistance. Because the handle detaches and refits across the Kings range, one purchase serves several utensils rather than committing to a single fixed item, and the dishwasher safe construction suits households and care settings alike.
