The Homecraft Aluminium Shower Stool with Padded Seat is a height-adjustable seat that allows a person to sit while showering or bathing, at home or in a hospital setting. The frame is made from rust-resistant aluminium and is wider than a standard shower stool, and the uncoated internal sliding legs adjust the seat height smoothly while avoiding any chance of water filling the legs. Reinforced frame tubing of 2.54 cm (1 inch) diameter gives the user something firmer to hold when moving on and off the seat, and the padded seat lifts out for cleaning. The standard model sets between 52 cm and 67.7 cm in seat height, weighs 2.5 kg and allows 51.3 cm between the arms. The range covers standard, extra wide and heavy duty extra wide models, and the stools stack vertically when not in use.

Showering is one of the more demanding daily tasks for anyone with reduced balance or standing tolerance, and a stable seat set to the right height takes much of that demand away. The padding makes a longer seated shower more comfortable than a bare moulded surface, while the removable cushion keeps cleaning straightforward in shared or multi-user settings.
