The Over Bed Table Low Profile is one of six models in the Icare over bed table range and provides a stable, adjustable surface for meals, reading, writing, laptop use and other everyday activities at home or in a care setting. A gas assisted lift raises and lowers the table anywhere between 73 cm and 109 cm, and the split top pairs a tilting work surface of 47 x 31 cm, adjustable through a stepped range of 0 to 70 degrees, with a fixed side section of 31 x 15 cm that keeps drinks and personal items level. The low 4.5 cm base frame allows the castors to roll beneath beds, recliners and chairs that offer very little clearance underneath. A powder coated steel frame carries up to 30 kg on the top, the surface wipes clean, and the finish is available in Charcoal or White Ash.

Low clearance beds and recliners defeat a conventional over bed table, so the slim 4.5 cm base is the practical point of difference here. Height and tilt both adjust without tools, which lets one table serve a meal, a book and a tablet in the same day, while the wipe clean surfaces and rolling castors keep it simple to reposition and maintain.
