A gas assisted lift sets the height anywhere between 73 cm and 109 cm, and the split top combines a tilting work area of 47 x 31 cm, adjustable through a stepped range of 0 to 70 degrees, with a fixed side section of 31 x 15 cm for a cup or personal items. The 9 cm base frame runs on larger castors, so the table rolls easily across carpet and sits under bed frames with at least 9 cm of clearance. The powder coated steel frame supports up to 30 kg on the top, the timber look surface wipes clean, and the finish comes in Charcoal or White Ash.

The standard base suits the majority of beds and recliners, and its larger castors make this the easier of the two base options to move across carpet. Because both the height and the tilt adjust in seconds, the same table works for eating, reading and screen use, and the hard wearing surfaces stand up to frequent cleaning.
