The Immedia EasyTurn is a soft, round swivel cushion that makes seated turning easier when a person is moving in or out of a car, a bed or a chair. The disc is built from three layers: a polyester top surface, two nylon inner faces that slide against one another to lower friction, and a non-slip backing that keeps the cushion resting firmly on the seat. It is placed centrally on the surface before the user sits on it, and the turn is achieved by shifting weight or lifting one or both legs, so the body rotates rather than being twisted or dragged across the seat. The cushion is supplied in 40 cm, 45 cm and 50 cm diameters with a maximum user weight of 150 kg, and it suits home care, long-term care and acute care settings.

The low-friction nylon construction means a seated turn takes much less effort for the user and for anyone assisting, which matters most in the confined space of a car doorway. The non-slip backing holds the cushion in position through the movement, and the flat, lightweight disc is simple to place, easy to carry between locations and able to be machine washed or wiped over.
