This version of the Juvo mobile shower commode pairs self-propelling quick-release rear wheels with a sliding footplate in place of swing-away legrests. The footplate is weight bearing and laser etched for grip, which gives the feet a stable platform while the person is seated in the shower, and it slides back under the frame so that it is out of the way when standing or moving across to a bed or chair. The chair can be rolled over a toilet through the open rear of the frame, or used with the pan and bowl carrier, which glides out for emptying. Independent swing-away armrests set 20 cm or 24 cm above the seat and locking safety arms assist side transfers, and the grade 304 stainless steel frame suits continued use in wet areas. Seat widths are 46 cm and 51 cm, rated to 200 kg and 300 kg.

A footplate is often the better choice where the legs need a firm surface to bear weight, and the fact that this one slides away under the frame means it is not in the way at the moment of transfer.
