The Karma S-Ergo 125 Transit Wheelchair is the flagship model of Karma's S-Ergo range, configured with 14 inch rear wheels and 7 inch castors for attendant-propelled use. The patented S-shaped seat frame is contoured to spread pressure and discourage the occupant from sliding forward, which helps hold a seated position without adding a separate cushion. Flip-back armrests with ergonomic arm pads move out of the way so the chair can be drawn up to a table or desk and transfers are less awkward, and the detachable swing-away footrests come off without tools. The lightweight aluminium frame uses a double cross brace, carries up to 115 kg and folds to 31 cm wide. The chair is approved for transport in a vehicle in accordance with ISO 7176-19. Seat widths of 45 cm (18 inch) and 50 cm (20 inch) are offered.
