The Allegro Standing Transfer Sling supports a weight bearing but less able person from waist level to mid shoulder during a sit to stand transfer, leaving the arms free so the hands can reach naturally to grip the lift arms as the person rises. This version uses loop type attachments, for standing hoists whose lift arms take webbing loops. Because the sling sits around the trunk rather than under the seat, clothing is easy to lower and raise, which suits toileting. A torso belt, available with either a buckle or a Velcro closure, adds security and stops the sling riding up the back where maximum support is wanted. Allegro makes the sling in fabric in three sizes and gives it a safe working load of 200 kg.
