The Casero Duo is the adjustable width bed in the Movi Casero range, ordered as a Single (BD6000) or a King Single (BD6100) with upholstered head and foot boards fitted. The patient surface is 90 cm wide on the Single and 105 cm wide on the King Single, 200 cm long as standard with a 20 cm extension available, giving an overall footprint of 102 cm or 119 cm wide by 217 cm or 237 cm long once the surround and boards are counted. The platform rises from 18.4 to 76 cm, the backrest raises from 0 to 65 degrees, the knee break from 0 to 32 degrees and the frame tilts plus or minus 12 degrees. Foot end castors lock centrally so the bed stays where it is set.

Being able to specify the width and the length separately is the useful part of this bed, because the sleeping surface can be sized to the person instead of to a standard. The powered height range gives a low setting for getting in and out and a raised setting that spares a carer's back, and the 250 kg safe working load gives headroom over a standard domestic bed.
