The One Touch can opener is a battery-powered opener that takes the twisting and squeezing out of opening a tin. It sits on top of the can, and a single press of the button starts it working on its own: the opener travels around the rim, cuts as it goes, and stops by itself once the lid is free, so there is nothing to hold down or turn. The cut leaves a smooth edge rather than a sharp rim, and a magnet holds the lid so it can be lifted away without being touched.
