The Care Quip Plastic Bathboard is a moulded board that rests across the rim of a bath to create a firm seat at the top of the tub, so that washing can be done seated without having to lower down to the bottom of the bath and rise again afterwards. The board measures 68 cm wide and 35 cm deep, and adjustable feet underneath are set to grip the inside walls of most standard baths. One end is contoured wider than the other to give a larger surface to sit on while the legs are lifted over the rim, and a removable grab rail provides a handhold through that movement. Slots moulded through the board drain water away from the seating area, an integrated soap dish keeps washing items within reach, and the maximum user weight is 100 kg.

A bathboard is often the simplest answer where a bath is the only washing facility available, since it turns an awkward descent into a seated slide across the rim. The wider contoured end and the removable grab rail give something to sit on and hold while the legs come over, and the drainage slots keep the seat from pooling with water.
