Precise Thick-N INSTANT Single Serve is a ready to use liquid thickener for the dietary management of dysphagia, supplied in a 500 mL bottle with its own aqua colour coded pump and label. Each stroke of the pump dispenses a measured 4.6 mL dose, so a drink is thickened to a chosen consistency by counting strokes rather than weighing powder. Because the thickener is already a liquid it disperses without lumping and develops its viscosity within about 30 seconds, although cold milk based drinks should stand for 10 minutes and be re-stirred before serving. One bottle yields approximately 108 serves at Slightly Thick or Mildly Thick, 54 at Moderately Thick and 27 at Extremely Thick, and it thickens a wide range of beverages, supplements and laxatives. It suits drink and medication trolleys as well as home use.
