The Robin Day Clock in the 30.5 cm (12 inch) size is a digital day clock that shows the time together with the day of the week and the full date on a full colour screen, so the details most easily lost track of can be read at a glance from across a room. The display theme can be customised to suit the user and the setting, and the clock can also show chosen messages and reminders, including birthdays. The 12 inch screen is the largest of the standard sizes, alongside the 20.3 cm (8 inch) model, which makes it suited to a lounge room or bedroom where the clock will be read from a distance. It is helpful for anyone who is disoriented or who simply wants more clarity.

A clock that spells out the day and the date in words removes the interpretation a conventional clock face demands, and the larger screen means it can be positioned where it is read from across the room rather than only from an arm's length. Custom messages and reminders allow parts of a daily routine to be shown on the clock itself.
