The Royale Mayfair Signature is a full-size twin motor lift chair that combines a recliner, a powered legrest and a sit-to-stand lift. Two motors drive the backrest and the legrest separately, so the recline angle and the leg elevation are adjusted independently from a hand control. The lift function tilts the seat forward to bring the user up towards standing. A three-section waterfall backrest supports the upper, middle and lower back, and a high-quality foam seat holds its shape through long periods of sitting. The chair is upholstered in soft, breathable angora fabric, available in symphony blue, dark coffee bean and mushroom. Side pockets hold the hand control and personal items, and a battery backup keeps the chair working during a power outage. The seat is 52 cm wide and 50 cm deep at a height of 48 cm, with a safe working load of 150 kg.

Independent control of the backrest and legrest is the practical advantage here, because posture can be altered through the day rather than locked to one reclined shape. The powered lift reduces the effort of rising from a low, soft chair, which is where standing unaided is hardest. Three angora colourways also allow the chair to sit in a living room without reading as clinical equipment.
