The Royale Multi-Motion Bed 3/4 Length Rails are side rails for the Royale Multi-Motion bed range that form a continuous barrier along three quarters of the mattress length, helping to prevent rolling or falls. The length is a deliberate compromise, covering most of the mattress while leaving the lower end of the bed clear for getting in and out. Each rail lowers independently, so one side can be dropped for repositioning, transfers or personal care while the other stays raised. The rails lock securely in the raised position and attach directly to the bed frame without interfering with the bed's electric height, backrest or knee break adjustments. The frame is powder-coated steel, which is hard-wearing and simple to wipe down. Each rail stands 45 cm above the top of the bed base and measures 138 cm wide. They are supplied and priced as a pair.

The three-quarter length is a considered trade-off, reducing the risk of rolling out of bed while keeping the foot of the bed open, so a person who still transfers themselves is not fenced in. Independent drop-down operation means a carer can reach the bed from one side without removing support on the other. Supplying the rails as a pair also covers both sides in one purchase.
