The Royale Multi-Motion Bed Footboard is an upholstered, padded board that attaches to the foot end of a Royale Multi-Motion bed frame. It closes the lower end of the mattress platform with a soft barrier, helping to stop bedding, pillows and positioning supports working their way off the bed when the profiling functions are used or the user is moved. Each size measures 51 cm overall and sits 31 cm above the bed base, which keeps the foot of the bed open and accessible, and widths follow the bed: 98 cm for single, 115 cm for king single, 143 cm for double and 158 cm for queen. The industrial-grade fabric cover is hard-wearing and simple to wipe down, and the black and grey finishes pair with the matching headboard. The footboard does not bear vertical or lateral weight.

Bedding that stays put through height and profiling changes means fewer interruptions for the person in bed and less repeated tidying for whoever assists them. The low 51 cm height keeps foot-end access clear for care tasks, while padded upholstery in two neutral colours softens the look of a bed that is often the main piece of furniture in the room.
