The Royale Multi-Motion Bed Headboard is a padded, upholstered board that fixes to the head end of a Royale Multi-Motion bed frame. It forms a cushioned barrier across the top of the mattress platform, which helps keep pillows, cushions and positioning aids from sliding away as the backrest is raised or the user is repositioned. Every size stands 70 cm overall and sits 50 cm above the bed base, with widths matched to the bed: 98 cm for single, 115 cm for king single, 143 cm for double and 158 cm for queen. The industrial-grade fabric cover wipes over easily and gives a profiling bed a softer, more furniture-like appearance in black or grey. The headboard is a comfort and positioning accessory only and is not designed to carry vertical or lateral weight.

A cushioned board at the head of the bed keeps pillows and positioning aids where someone places them, so a user is less likely to lose support overnight and whoever assists them spends less time resetting the bedding.
