Sure Grip Bendable Cutlery is a range of adaptive eating utensils sold as single pieces or as a set of four comprising a rocker knife, a fork, a tablespoon and a teaspoon. The fork and the spoons have a twisted stainless steel shaft immediately above the handle that can be bent to the left or the right, so the tines or bowl can be set at whatever angle the user is able to reach most comfortably. The knife has a curved rocker blade that cuts with a rolling motion rather than a sawing action and therefore calls for little arm strength. Every piece shares the same built-up rubber handle, 3.8 cm wide with flexible ribbing that stays slip resistant when wet and contains no latex. The utensils are stainless steel and are dishwasher safe up to 52 degrees Celsius.

Being able to reset the shaft angle means the utensil is adapted to the user rather than the user working around the cutlery, which supports a more independent meal with less fatigue. The thick ribbed handles are far easier to hold with reduced grip strength or dexterity, and because the pieces are available individually, only the items a person actually needs have to be supplied.
