The Swivel Cushion is a portable padded seat pad that rotates through 360 degrees, helping a seated person turn their hips and legs without shuffling or twisting. It is placed on the car seat, chair or bed before the transfer, and once the person is seated the top surface turns freely so the legs can be swung around to face the new direction. A slip-resistant base holds the cushion steady on the surface beneath it, while the soft, flexible padded top remains comfortable to sit on. At 44 cm across and only 3.5 cm thick it adds very little seat height and stores flat in a car door pocket or bag. It may also be used to assist turning while standing, and suits vehicle transfers as well as repositioning in a chair or on the edge of a bed.
