The Hero Medical 6 inch Standard Seat Walker is a four-wheeled walker with a padded seat and foldable backrest, intended as an everyday walking aid indoors and outdoors. The user walks inside the frame holding the handles, which adjust from 77 to 92 cm to suit different heights, and uses the light-touch loop brakes to slow down or to lock the walker before sitting. All four 15.2 cm (6 inch) castors cope with carpet, paving and other common surfaces, while the swivel front wheels make turning in a hallway manageable. The 44 cm seat sits 55 cm from the floor, and an under-seat bag carries personal items. The aluminium frame weighs 6.7 kg, folds for the car, and has a safe working load of 140 kg. Five colours are available.
