The Care Quip Folding Walking Stick is a height adjustable walking stick with a polished timber handle and a lightweight aluminium shaft. The shaft folds into shorter sections, so the stick can be packed into a bag or stowed beside a chair when it is not in use and set up again when it is needed. Height adjusts over a useful range, with the medium stick covering 81 to 91 cm and the long stick covering 86 to 96 cm, so the handle can be set at a comfortable level for the individual. The polished timber handle gives a smooth and firm grip, and the stick is fitted with a tip of 1.9 cm. Maximum user weight is 100 kg, and the stick is available in black and bronze.

A folding stick is far more practical for anyone who needs support only part of the time, since it packs away into a handbag or a car rather than having to be propped somewhere. Two lengths and an adjustable shaft mean the handle can be set to the right height, and the timber handle stays comfortable in the hand over longer periods of use.
