The Karma 2 Piece Seat Belt is a pelvic positioning belt that fits to the frame of a Karma manual wheelchair and fastens across the user's hips. The pelvic belt is suitable for all users, stabilising the seated position so the occupant stays back in the seat rather than sliding forward during the day. It is intended to help the user remain correctly positioned when the chair travels over uneven surfaces or is stopped suddenly, which covers a good deal of ordinary use on footpaths, ramps and kerb crossings. The pelvic belt is available as an option across Karma's manual wheelchair range, including the Ergo Lite, Ergo Lite 2, S-Ergo 105, S-Ergo 115, S-Ergo 125, Flexx, Flexx S, Flexx Tall and VIP 515, so it can usually be added to an existing chair.

A pelvic belt is a small addition that changes how settled a person feels in their chair, particularly on uneven footpaths or when a carer needs to stop quickly.
