The Karma Wheelchair Rear Carry Bag is the Backrest Bag from Karma's manual wheelchair accessory range, a soft storage bag that sits at the rear of the backrest behind the occupant. It provides additional storage for either the user or the attendant, which in practice means personal items can travel with the chair rather than on the occupant's lap or in a carer's hand. The bag measures 34 cm wide by 37 cm high, or 52 cm high including the handles, so it keeps a low profile and adds no width to the chair. It is sized for seat widths of 40 to 45 cm (16 inch to 18 inch) and is available as an option across most of Karma's manual wheelchair range, which makes it straightforward to add to a chair already in use.

Storage is the gap in most wheelchair setups, and a bag that lives on the backrest means a carer is not pushing with a handbag over one shoulder. At 34 cm by 37 cm it holds enough for an outing or an appointment without unbalancing the chair, and it fits across most of the Karma manual range rather than a single model.
